What languages are proposed for the guided tours?
French, English, Spanish, German, Italian, Russian, Japanese, Chinese, Portuguese. The day tours are conducted in 2 languages. For other languages, please send your inquiry.
Are meals provided during excursions?
Our Day Tours (DT) and Short Breaks (SB) include lunches.
As far as our Bike Tours (BT), Wine Tours (WT), Highlight Tours (HT), Private Tours (PT), A la Carte (AC): please read description of the tour.
What type of food is served during meals?
Our Day Tours (DT) and Short Breaks (SB) lunches: 3 course meal (local specialities) and drinks are included. Local wines are served during lunches.
Special diets: please contact us in advance (72 hours).
Do I have to present a voucher (the day of the tour) when I book excursions on line?
Yes. You will print your reservation sheet after the on-line booking. Please take your vouchers with you to present them at the hotels, guides when the tour starts or other contractors of your tour.
Are the entrance fees included?
In most tours, entrance fees are included.

Where are the different departure points?
For Day Tours (DT) and Short Breaks (SB), the tour starts at the Tourist office of the city of Tours or tourist office of the town of Amboise.
A hotel pick up is possible with a supplement of 14 € per person.
For SB 1, SB 2, SB 3, SB 4, SB 5, the pick up at your hotel is offered.
For other excursions (BT) (WT) (HT) (PT): you may refer to the tours description.
How can I go to the departure point?
From the city of Tours train station, the tourist office is located less than 150 meters away in front of the train station.

How should I dress?
We recommend you to wear comfortable clothes, especially shoes. It may rain, please be provident and some visits (churches, caves ...) can be chilly.
How can I pay if I book through a hotel reception?
You can pay by cash or credit card (Visa or MasterCard).
Who is the tour given by?
The tour is given by a Guide Interprète National (Official licensed guide), qualified in history, architecture and capable of leading a tour with proper manners.
Who takes care of luggage in bike tours?
The agency takes care of the luggage transfers.
What happen in case I need help during my biking tour or if I have a flat tire?
In case of emergency please call the agency on 02 54 33 99 80 or 06 73 51 87 91.

For flat tire, our bikes are equipped with flat tire canes that will allow you to end the day.
You have to inform the agency of any problem on the bikes so we can fix the bikes at night or early morning.
How challenging are the rides on your tours?
They are from very easy to easy. The average distance is 25 30 kms per days. The landscape is whether flat or gently hilly.
How easy is the canoe ride on the Cher river and on the Loire river?
The Cher river is a canalised river. In spring and summer, the flow is smooth and the ride is easy. You will go downstream, so no special fitness is required.
The Loire River in spring and summer becomes very shallow and the gentle current will push you downstream.
How does the hot air balloon flight take place?
The hot air balloon staff meets you one hour before the flight. The meeting point will be given to you by the agency. The pilotes take you to the take off point (different every day according to wind directions and strength). You will attend the balloon preparation (appr 45 min) (you are welcomed to help). The flight lasts about one hour. Because of the uncertainty of the landing point, the staff's vehicle will be following the balloon from the ground. You will champagne celebrate your flight after the landing. The staff takes you back to the first meeting point (appr 1 hour after the landing).
The all operation lasts about 3 hours.
The meeting schedules vary according to the season.

JULY: 6.15 AM or 7 PM
How should I dress during the hot air balloon flight?
Just like on a normal walk. Do not dress too warm and avoid high heels.
Can you book train tickets for us?
The agency can book your train tickets.
We will post them to you're your personal address or to your hotel.
Are children welcome on your tours?
Children of all ages are welcome on our tours. A child is will use one seat in our vehicles. We have at your disposal adapted children seats. Make sure you booked a seat for each of your children.
How large will my group be?
Maximum group size: 8 passengers for tours given in a minibus (Day Tours, Wine Tours, short Breaks, Highlight Tours).
For Bike Tours, you are free to pedal on your own.
What kind of wines are included in the meals?
Premium wines from local appellations are served during meals
If I am travelling alone, will you find me a roommate or can I have a private room?
Prices are based on double or twin occupancy rooms. For a single occupancy there is a "single" supplement. This supplement varies according to the hotel use in the tour.
